First day of Autumn is a very special day to us in New England! It's the start of gorgeous weather and sights! No where beats fall in New England, and I challenge you on that!
Things here are already starting to turn yellow and there's these little BURSTS of color here and there. Can't you smell the dead leaves and feel the crisp breezes? Can't you smell people's fires and feel the itch of your favorite sweater? Fall is in the air, and it's invigorating!
With this funny weather we've been having the past few days, fog is abundant! It rolls in off the River and masks it into this scary abyss. The fog and sea smoke can make our three bridges totally disappear, giving you kinda the creeps! At night it looms softly, hovering low, making all the street lamps and porch lights surrounded by wonderful, glowing halos.
You can see what will be in focus over the next few months... Autumn Splendor!

Just passing by on my search of different photoblogs. I love your blog layout and a lot of the pictures you have on here!! I thought i would offer one suggestion though: I think it would look better if you scale your image display size up a bit to fill your post area better. Blogger by default uses picasa for the image hosting, so usualy it is as easy as uping the "src=" section on your image in your post. the default max that blogger shows is "s400" and links to "s1600" (these show up in your image links - at least in the old editor & html editor). you should be able just to change "s400" to "s600" or "s800" (probably too wide). Otherwise you can always host images external - more work though. I have been playing around with this recently on my blog as well :-) Anyway keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteHi Lucas!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your suggestions. I didn't realize I could enlarge the photos! I'll try that!
Your photos are beautiful, by the way! Love them! Thank you for the support, I appreciate it! :o)
